Valeriya Khan is a Kazakhstani Koryo-Saram filmmaker currently based in Vancouver, BC. Blue Honey is her director's debut film she completed in the last year of her film program at SFU. Valeriya is interested in the themes of family and immigration in her works. She wants to explore the connections and tensions informed by the cultural differences and the fleeting moments of unspoken truths that emerge between strangers in her future works.
