Each year Reelworld honours an individual whose creative excellence in film and television over decades has positively impacted the representation of Canada's diversity, both nationally and internationally. This year, we are proud to present the Award of Excellence to Traci Melchor. Melchor is a prominent entertainment reporter and TV host, and is currently Senior Correspondent on Etalk and Resident Judge on Canada’s Drag Race. She has years of experience interviewing A-list stars such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Denzel Washington and Madonna, and has covered high-profile events including the Oscars and the Super Bowl. To celebrate this award and honour her achievements, Melchor will be interviewed at the summit by journalist Jee-Yun Lee.
